Adjectives

An adjective is a word that modifies a noun or pronoun. The good thing about adjectives is that an adjective makes a sentence or writing interesting, beautiful and lovely.
Example Ada is a smart,beautiful girl. ( smart and beautiful) are adjective while Ada is a girl is a noun smart and beautiful made  the sentence interesting.
Beautiful, intelligent, brilliant, blue, yellow,smart,tall, short, ugly, handsome, wonderful egg are all adjectives.

Descriptive writing is something imaginative- such as stories or an account of a personal experience detailed description about people and places.

A good rule to follow in writing descriptions is to base what you describe on your own experiences and develop it.

Technique for descriptive writing

Describing things effectively is a good way to engage your reader.

1. What does the person or place look like?

2. What sounds do I hear? Example the person’s voice, movement, different sounds in the background.

3. What does it feel like example the person’s handshake or feeling of heat, cold etc.

4. What does taste like?

5. What does it smell like?
